| Our Story |
Breakdown Athletics is a good ole fashioned American success story. We started as simple college students that had a need for a unique look for our intramural basketball team. After going to numerous local shops we quickly found out that Custom uniforms were way out of our meager budget. So, like most college students we decided to improvise and look for an alternate method. We didn’t have to look any further than our own teammates. Within arm’s reach we had access to designers, seamstresses, and every other component to make a high quality uniform. We soon learned that we could produce high quality uniforms at a fraction of what others were charging.
My parents always taught me that a great business is developed at the intersection of Necessity, opportunity and drive. In 1998 on my college campus Breakdown Athletics passed through that intersection and has been on the road to success ever since. We pride ourselves on providing customers with the best-quality products and personal service. Breakdown Athletics specializes in the manufacture of HIGH QUALITY, COUSTOM sports uniforms and apparel. We feel that everyone, no matter what level you are competing at should be able to afford a custom uniform. The worst feeling in the world is for your team to take the floor and the team opposite of you has the same uniform. Most companies have “stock” uniforms and sell them to the masses. There is nothing unique about your own uniform when someone else is wearing it. Breakdown Athletics was born out of a desire to change that.
We take enormous pride in creating high quality and stylish uniforms for today's athlete. That is why we specialize in custom orders. The mark of a true champion is consistency and results The same team that we assembled back in 1998 is still intact today and since that time we have always produced.
